  1. ATTACK A V-1 SITE
  2.  
  3. During the first week of May, 1944, 
  4. Allied preparations for D-Day included a 
  5. sweep of targets considered to be threats 
  6. to the invasion build-up.  These targets
  7. were given the codename CROSSBOW or 
  8. NOBALL.  CROSSBOW targets were those 
  9. suspected of being V1 launching sites.
  10. NOBALL targets were the V-weapon 
  11. launching and assembly sites, as well as
  12. their storage and manufacturing centers.

  14.                     YOUR MISSION
  15.  
  16. You are to attack the V-1 flying bomb 
  17. launch site at Calais.  You and your 
  18. wingman will follow the flight leader in 
  19. to dive-bomb the target.  Try to make
  20. as many strafing passes as possible
  21. after dropping your bombs.  You are 
  22. escorted by a pair of P-51s, but be 
  23. alert for German interceptors.
